Tess Woolslager is a lifestyle writer based in New York City. Her work focuses on nature, travel, and wellness through intentional long-form storytelling. She is an advocate for print media and slow journalism, valuing high-quality over quantity.

She has experience in both digital and film photography, from creative conception to post-production. Her visual style is heavily influenced by high-contrast black-and-white imagery, particularly the work of Kathy Ryan and her Office Romance series.

Tess holds a B.A. in Advertising & Public Relations from The Pennsylvania State University, with minors in Photography and International Studies.

Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, she returns often for fresh air, quiet mornings, and tomatoes from her mom's garden. Outside of work, she finds inspiration from Pacific Coast sunsets and East Coast autumns, and loves groovy guitar solos, cats, lemon pasta, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and yoga.
